The Twlv Stix Golf Tour has been designed for amateurs with a Golf Canada handicap factor of 0 to 18. You must be a member of Golf Canada and have a verifiable index to compete on The Twlv Stix Tour.

If you have been using another app to calculate your handicap, our handicap committee can consider it once verification of dates and scores has been completed. All scores must be transferred over to your new Golf Canada app.

All Tour members must input all 18-hole scores annually.

We will not have flights this season.

All Twlv Stix Tour Card holders are guaranteed a spot in each event. Registration for card holders takes priority over guest registration.

Timeline for when registration closes will vary with each golf course/tournament, this will also affect Guest registrations if need be.

Registration for events will NOT be accepted verbally, by email or by social media (Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter). There are NO exceptions to this rule. To register please sign up through our players portal.

We accept credit cards on our website

Cancellation and refund dates will be on a tournament to tournament bases. This information will be provided upon opening registration for tournaments.

If you withdraw or no show after the specified dates provided for the tournament, you will forfeit your fees and there will be no refund.

Though we want to play competitive golf we will allow some ease out on the course, meant to speed up the pace of play.

Regular Rules of Golf apply at all times. Refer to Members Handbook for the most common rules to know during competition.

Local Rule for Lost ball and Out-of-bounds is an option with 2-stroke penalty.

Slow play will not be tolerated as we will not be invited back to the course if our tour takes too long.
If you do fall too far behind pace of play, you may be asked to skip a hole and everyone in the group will take an automatic double bogey.

STANDARD RULES ARE POLICED BY ALL TWLV STIX MEMBERS. MEMBERS CAUGHT BREAKING RULES AFTER 1 WARNING ARE REMOVED FROM THE LEAGUE WITH NO REFUND

The tournament is always a go, even if it is raining. The elements are a part of golf. No fair weather golfers here.

With some golf courses, If you choose to quit, you may head to the pro shop and receive a rain cheque. You will be marked as DNF. We will know before each round if this option is available.

If we have a rain delay/lightning, please watch for a group text outlining procedure, don’t leave and assume the round is cancelled or you will be marked as DNF

If we experience a significant delay or period of bad weather and it’s unlikely the full group will finish 18 holes due to daylight issues or timing. We will determine procedure at that time depending on courses protocol.

By registering for an event, the player agrees to abide by all the terms and conditions of both the Code of Conduct and the 2023 Twlv Stix Golf Tour Policies & Procedures, as follows:

Membership dues are non-refundable at time of processing and expire on December 31, 2023.

I willingly grant the TWLV STIX Golf Tour and its representatives permission to use my photos in any promotional material, including brochures, posters, literature and advertisements. They may even post these on social media or release them through press outlets.

I agree to consent to release any information concerning performance and status of membership to the news, media, social media, other golf associations and organizations interested in the game of golf.

As a competitor in Twlv Stix Golf Tour events, I agree to abide by the pace of play policies put in place, and understand that failure to comply may result in loss of playing privileges.

Members who No Show from an event will forfeit their entry fee for that event.

If you are a member of Twlv Stix Golf Club or are playing in a Twlv Stix Golf Event, you must enter all acceptable scores into your golf Canada handicap. If a golfer is found to have not entered a score from a previous round, then the that golfer could have to play at 50% of his handicap in future Twlv Stix Events.

Tournament Prizing for Members:

For each golfer in each event, there is $15 put into the POT (from your membership fee)
66% or $10 of the prize contribution, of this goes towards NET winner with a break down of 60% to 1st, 30% to 2nd and 10% to 3rd.

33% or $5 of the prize contribution of the POT goes towards the Gross winners 65% for 1st and 35% for 2nd. Each Winner of Net and Gross will receive a limited edition Twlv Stix Golf Club Hoodie.

Guest for Events

Guest that participate in our events are not eligible for NET cash prizing but are eligible for GROSS prizing.

Guest can win swag and other prizing then cash.

Several Rules of Amateur Status apply only to golfers of “skill or reputation”.

A golfer is considered to have skill or reputation is they are successful at the provincial level or compete at the national level, but it is a matter for Golf Canada to decide whether a particular golfer has skill or reputation.

If you are a golfer of “skill or reputation” and are concerned about losing your Amateur Status by playing in a Twlv Stix Event then we ask you to sign our waiver form, found here.

All money contributed is considered as gambling with in the club. You can opt out of any tournament if you wish to by letting the organizer know. You can find here, Rules of Amateur Status. Please make sure to read.

The Order of Merit aka. Twlv Stix Crown is our season long points race.

12 Tournaments to crown the victor. The one with the most points wins.

We award both a NET and GROSS Season champion.

Each winner gets a full season pass for the following season. Your membership is paid for and all participating green fees.
